General Questions About Mobile Notary Services

What is a mobile notary? A mobile notary is a commissioned notary public who travels to the client’s location rather than requiring the client to visit an office. Mobile Notary Maryland travels to homes, offices, hospitals, nursing homes, and other approved locations throughout Maryland.

How does a mobile notary appointment work? You contact us, provide your location and document details, and we schedule a time to meet you on-site. We bring the necessary notary supplies, verify your identification, review the documents, and complete the notarization.

Do I need to come to your office? No. Mobile Notary Maryland comes to you. This is the entire purpose of our service. We serve clients in Baltimore, Annapolis, Silver Spring, Rockville, Waldorf, and across Maryland.

What areas of Maryland do you serve? We provide mobile notary services throughout Maryland, including Baltimore, Annapolis, Silver Spring, Rockville, Waldorf, Columbia, Frederick, Bowie, Gaithersburg, and surrounding communities.

Identification and Document Requirements

What ID do I need for notarization? A valid government-issued photo ID is required. Acceptable forms include a driver’s license, state-issued ID card, passport, or military ID.

What happens if my ID is expired? An expired ID is generally not acceptable for notarization. If you have a question about a specific situation, call us before your appointment.

Do all signers need to be present? Yes. All individuals signing the document must be present at the time of notarization. We cannot notarize a signature that was made in advance or remotely unless remote online notarization applies.

What documents can you notarize? We can notarize affidavits, power of attorney forms, real estate documents, loan documents, wills, trusts, medical authorizations, and other eligible documents under Maryland law.

Scheduling and Availability

Do you offer same-day notary service? Yes. Same-day appointments may be available depending on location and current schedule. Call (410) 410-5034 as early in the day as possible for the best availability.

Do you offer emergency notary service? Yes. We accommodate urgent notarization requests when scheduling allows. Contact us immediately if you have a time-sensitive situation.

Do you work evenings and weekends? We offer flexible scheduling and work to accommodate evenings and weekends based on availability.

How far in advance do I need to schedule? For standard appointments, we recommend calling at least 24 hours ahead. For same-day or emergency appointments, contact us as soon as possible.

Specific Document and Service Questions

Do you handle real estate loan signings? Yes. We provide loan signing services for refinances, purchases, seller packages, and related real estate documents throughout Maryland.

What is the difference between a notary public and a loan signing agent? A notary public is commissioned by the state to witness signatures and certify documents. A loan signing agent is a notary public who has additional training in handling mortgage and real estate loan document packages.

Fees and Process

How are your fees structured? Fees are based on the type of service, number of documents, and travel requirements. Contact us for specific pricing details.

Do you charge a travel fee? Travel fees may apply depending on location and distance. We provide clear fee information before confirming your appointment.

SUPPORTING MARYLAND COMMUNITIES THROUGH LOCAL SPONSORSHIP

At Mobile Notary Maryland, our work has always been rooted in the communities we serve. Every appointment we complete, whether at a home in Anne Arundel County, a hospital in Baltimore City, or a business in Prince George’s County, is a reminder that our work connects directly to the people and families who make Maryland home.

We believe a strong local business is one that gives back. That is why Mobile Notary Maryland is committed to supporting Maryland communities through local sponsorships, civic partnerships, and active participation in the regions where our clients live and work.

From Charles County to Harford County, from Howard County to Baltimore County, we are not just a notary service that shows up. We are a Maryland business invested in the long-term well-being of the state we serve.

OUR MARYLAND COMMUNITY COMMITMENT

Mobile Notary Maryland was built on a simple idea: make notarization accessible to everyone, regardless of where they are or what they are going through. That commitment extends beyond appointments.

Our service area spans the full state, and our community commitment follows the same map. We are active in Anne Arundel County, Baltimore County, Baltimore City, Charles County, Harford County, Howard County, and Prince George’s County because that is where our clients are, and where our support belongs.

SUPPORT LOCAL, SUPPORT COMMUNITY

Every time a Maryland resident chooses a local service provider over a national chain, they are investing in their community. Local businesses hire local people, support local causes, and understand local needs in ways that larger organizations often cannot.

Mobile Notary Maryland is locally operated and Maryland-focused.

  • We understand what it means to serve a family in Harford County who needs a power of attorney notarized urgently.
  • We know the importance of reaching a nursing home resident in Howard County who cannot travel.
  • We recognize the time pressure on a Baltimore City homeowner completing a real estate closing on a tight deadline.

That local knowledge and local care is what separates us from directory listings and national referral services.

When you choose Mobile Notary Maryland, you are choosing a business that:

– Operates entirely within Maryland

– Serves all seven counties and beyond with equal attention and professionalism

– Reinvests in Maryland communities through sponsorship and civic engagement

– Treats every client, regardless of location or circumstance, with respect and urgency

Supporting local means more than choosing a nearby provider. It means building a network of businesses and residents who look out for one another. Mobile Notary Maryland is proud to be part of that network.
